We’re looking to add a Pile Driver to our team, please read below for the details of the position.

Position Summary:

A Pile Driver is responsible for the installation of footing piles and earth support sheeting systems as directed by the Foreman or Superintendent.

Responsibilities:

Operate pile drivers mounted on skids, barges, crawler treads, or locomotive cranes to drive pilings for retaining walls, bulkheads, and foundations of structures, such as buildings, foundations and/or waterways.
Works closely with Pile Driver Operator, Barge Foreman, Welders, Helpers, Laborers and other skilled craft persons to complete current projects in a safe and efficient manner.
Employs knowledge of construction rigging, such as use of slings, cable chokers, spreader bars, and multi-part load blocks, to complete crane hoisting tasks.
Ensure compliance with safety policies and quality control plan
Ensure that equipment is cleaned and stored properly at the end of each shift
Assist in planning work schedule and determining labor and equipment needs with foreman
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a pile driver working on pier related construction
Must have knowledge of working around cranes, of all types of bridge construction equipment and forming systems associated with bridge construction
Experience with rigging heavy loads, welding and safety
Have a valid driving license
Must possess the ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles
Dedicated and hard working
Have daily transportation to jobsite
