Job Title: -- Safety Supervisor (Outage Responsibilities)

Job Summary: -- This position is responsible for providing safety support/advice in a industrial maintenance environment in order to guarantee compliance with Federal, State, and local safety, health, and environmental regulations in addition to Company EHS policies and procedures. The Safety Supervisor serves as the Competent Person and primary contact in the event of OSHA inspections. This position eligible for per diem.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --

Conducts EHS training/orientation of site workers to include forklift and mobile equipment.
Conducts field safety audits and walk-through.
Administers site specific EHS work plans.
Administers facilities substance abuse prevention program.
Administers facilities safety observation program.
Provides first aid treatment.
Conducts respirator fit testing.
Performs job hazard analysis and ergonomic assessments of job task
Collects and analyze safety data for loss prevention and reporting
Skills Needed:

Prioritizes and plans work activities; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives.
Provides effective feedback; publicly recognizes others for EHS performance; communicates well and maintains key stakeholders informed of EHS facility developments.
Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; treats people with respect.
Takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments and commits to long hours of work when necessary and required.
Demonstrates good computer skills by maintaining training records, preparing reports and communicating thru company email system. Strong computer skills working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications essential.
