FROM CUSTOMER: Managers really like seeing people who have actually come up through the trades in a union environment.

Job Description:
Must be willing to go all over country to train and then lead a job by next year-
Managers really like seeing people who have actually come up through the trades in a union environment. That’s harder but they will jump on those. If not, the more union experience, the better.

- Experience working on the services side rather than being an Owner’s Rep
- Union background highly preferred
- Majority of projects must be union
- Power Plant/Power Generation Experience
- Extensive Combined Cycle experience
- Degree highly preferred

We are looking for the Site Manager that oversees all the construction at a greenfield combined cycle project. Ideally, the “perfect” candidate would have started in his/her local union hall, completed the apprenticeship, rose through the ranks to a superintendent position, then to a site superintendent or construction manager, then to a Project Field Manager. Where all his/her experience, or the majority of it, has been out in the construction field.
This position should be able to [at any time] perform as a Superintendent or a Construction Manager/Lead Superintendent if needed. This position also interacts with the client regularly and directly reports to the Project Manager [engineering side]. We want someone that is experienced in this role and has a significant amount of union experience – especially being a union member themselves.
