Plan, direct and supervise company quality control functions and activities.
Actively support the Companys commitment to safety and its Core Values.
Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Companys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Responsible and accountable to promote, maintain, and insure safety and a safe work environment for quality assurance personnel.
Prepare, obtain approval, issue and implement company quality control (assurance) program in compliance with owner contract and company requirements.
As required by the quality control program, perform activities such as audits, preparation of company standards, and notification to management of quality problems, etc.
Perform inspections and witness tests as required.
Provide administrative and technical direction to all quality control personnel, which include personnel administration, resolution of technical problems, development and approval of in-house training, etc.
Act as liaison with owner, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and internal departments on quality related matters as required.
Implement and maintain the Non-Conformance Management and Corrective Action Program.
Ensure a calibration and testing program are in place.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Perform additional responsibilities, as directed by Quality Assurance Manager.
Four-year engineering degree or a minimum of 5 years quality control (quality assurance) experience or equivalent.
AWS CWI and API 653 required.
NACE certification preferred.
Work knowledge of NDT methods including RT/PT/UT/MT/VT/LT preferred.
Strong working knowledge of ASME SEC. II, V, VIII, IX, B31.1, B31.3, AWS D1.1, API: 650, 620 is required.
Strong understanding of industry practices, processes and standards in the construction field.
Demonstrated supervisory skills and experience.
Strong communication skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
