[QC Inspector] IBC/ICC (ACI or NICET) Civil/Structural Inspector

System One is looking for IBC/ICC (ACI or NICET) certified Civil/Structural inspectors for DOE project starting in 2019.

Looking for Special Inspectors that are certified to perform special inspections in accordance with the IBC during construction. Special inspections are required for building components identified in IBC when the design of these components is required to be performed by a professional engineer or architect. Needs ICC certified inspectors to meet these requirements. Inspection items include fabricators for pre-engineered structural components, fabrication process for prefabricated wood products, as well as for materials such as:

concrete;

masonry;

structural steel;

soils;

sprayed fire-resistant materials;

mastic and intumescent fire-resistant coatings;

exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS);

smoke-control systems; and

any special cases as determined by the building official.
