Have an immediate need for High Voltage Generator Mechanic experienced in CAT-320 Generators for overseas location in the Pacific.

-- Mandatory 7-12s with 30 days R&R.
-- The pay is $25/hr straight time for 84 hours a week
-- All airfare included
-- All lodging and meals included
-- Paid 30 days paid R&R (40hr week) with paid airfare
-- Free clinic on sit
-- Immediate travel required with passport

Job Summary
The High Voltage Generator Mechanic maintains, repairs, and services High Voltage Power Generators.

Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)
&#61599; Responsible for ordering and receiving service and replacement parts for Power Generators
&#61599; Responsible for the procurement, movement and set up of generators and fuel tanks
&#61599; Responsible for inspecting and maintaining fuel tanks, fuel burners and electrical wiring
&#61599; Troubleshoots installations
&#61599; Performs technical work with High Power systems
&#61599; Perform other qualified duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills
&#61599; Working knowledge of High Voltage Harvest Falcon, BEAR systems or equivalent preferred
&#61599; Ability to interpret and apply manufacturers repair manuals and technical specifications, schematics and engineering drawings and diagnostic codes
&#61599; Basic understanding of a variety of engines
&#61599; Must have the ability to perform maintenance on coolant, oil and fuel systems
&#61599; Requires basic understanding of power generation, electrical safety and engine maintenance
&#61599; Have the ability to perform an extended load test
&#61599; Utilize electrical math formulas to meet the specifications of a proper load test
&#61599; Understand voltage, amperage, frequency and poser factors
&#61599; Understand the basic principles of electricity
&#61599; Additional knowledge/experience may be required by assignment or contract and will be listed separately

Experience & Education
&#61599; Minimum two (2) years hands on experience in a mechanic role
&#61599; Previous experience in repairing and replacing diesel/mechanical engines
&#61599; Preferred graduate of an accredited diesel school
&#61599; Valid US driverís license preferred
&#61599; Additional experience/education may be required by assignment or contract and will be listed separately

Physical Requirements/Working Environment
Assigned to overseas locations where living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable, with long hours, exposure to weather, dust, and hazardous/harsh conditions

Travel
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
