Who We’re Looking For:
IMI is looking for a self-motivated, go-getter to Journeyman Electricians who have 3+ years’ experience as an electrician, 10 – 30 hours of training and fall arrest training, a completion of apprenticeship with a 01 Journeyman License and a high school diploma or GED & certifications.
Have you dedicated that kind of time to fiddling with and installing wires? Then we want you.
You’ll Be Responsible For:
* Install wiring, outlets and fixtures.
* Follow tasks issued by the master electrician.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues.
Sound fun? Well this is what we’ll need from you:
* Familiarity with voltages from 24VDC, 90VDC, 120VAC, 480VAC, up to 600VAC.
* PLC knowledge.
* PLC communication cabling.
* Familiarity with distributed IO systems (Device Net, AS-I Systems, or similar).
* Ability to read blueprints.
Worksites can be dangerous, so in order to ensure your safety at all times, we require you always possess a hard hat, steel-toe boots, work gloves, safety vest, and work goggles.
Due to the many responsibilities we are tasking our employees with, we ask they have the following tools:
* Linesman pliers
* Diagonal pliers
* Needle nose pliers
* Vice grips (medium)
* Small control driver
* Crimping tool
* Wire strippers
* Tape measure
* Allen keys
* 1 Set of box open end wrenches
* Voltage tester
* Tool pouch/Bag
