Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) is seeking a Construction Manager to work with one of the largest EPC firms in the country. This is a direct and benefited position located in Harbor Beach, MI.


The Construction Manager will need to have strong understanding of industrial construction including static equipment arrangement, industrial pipe, and an understanding of prefabricated industrial process mods. The manager will need to assist in the support of all project activities including assisting in project sequencing, scope development, resolution of constructability issues, as well as general activities project such as project controls, safety management, and vendor management. This position will function as the main construction resource for the Project Manager of a $60 million industrial demolition and rebuild project.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include project sequence, constructability subject expert, subcontracting oversight, interface between Construction and Engineering while acting as an representative of the owners operations.
Responsible for leading project team meetings, with contract and client personnel
Understanding of the project process within capital projects and managing appropriate job sequencing
Develop innovative plans to maximize the amount of process equipment per square foot while not adversely affecting constructability
Prior experience with pre-fabricated process modules.

Industrial experience is required – must have strong background working with piping installation, vessels, and static equipment arrangement
Must be able to read P&IDs
Experience with FEED or FEL work is a plus
Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years’ experience in construction
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must have the ability to work in a team environment
