Great River Industries is currently seeking a Field Engineer for our large mechanical project at Nutrien in Augusta, GA. This individual will perform a variety of functions on a daily basis to support our Project Management Team. The experience gained with this position serves as a training ground for the future Leadership of the Great River family.
The main duties will include the following:
Gathering and Reporting of all daily activities and Field progress.
Maintain a pre-built Primavera P6 schedule (training provided)
Coordinate work with the customer and the other trades that are working in the area
Help with daily submittal of timesheets and material tracking.
Assist with the budgets associated with the purchase orders used on site.
Conduct site inspections/audits and correct any issues, while mentoring craftsmen on personal safety
Conduct monthly project updates with employees in the Corporate Office
The main requirements will include the following:
A leader skilled in motivating teams to achieve company goals and objectives;
Excellent analytical and organizational skills;
Skilled communicator able to mentor craft workers, develop partnerships and build positive relationships;
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with Vista Viewpoint and Primavera preferred
Travel is expected.
GRI offers an extensive benefit package not limited to:
$50,000-$70,000 base salary
Per diem when based on site
