Water Truck Driver
Geotemps, Inc. has an immediate need for a Water Truck Driver to support remote drilling project. Candidate will work 12 hours a day on a rotation of 5 days on/5 days off hauling water to an exploration drill rig working near Fallon, NV. Candidates need to have attention to detail in a fast paced, high production industry; and have the ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment. And must be highly self-motivated, who has the desire to improve production, and the workplace environment. Will be responsible for hauling water to drill site over public roads and for keeping equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Candidates will be required to perform basic inspection of equipment to ensure safety and productivity and report any necessary equipment maintenance or equipment problems to supervisor. When working with co-workers, constant eye contact will be maintained when backing, communicating using hand signals or other movements.
**Candidates must be willing to travel to client sites and/or pick up sites.
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Must have a valid Class B State drivers license with tanker endorsement
Must be able to work independently and utilize sound judgment.
Must be able to follow and enforce policies, procedures, regulations and instruction consistently.
Must be able to function with flexibility and awareness of the ultimate goal.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 75lbs.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Working in extreme weather conditions, including, but not limited to, hot and cold climates, wet and unstable grounds, highly humid, or highly dry areas
Must be aware of your surroundings at all times.
Personal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and, as needed: respirator, rubber steel-toed boots, gloves, fall protection, protective clothing, goggles, face shield and other protective equipment as required
