Tech USA has immediate openings for a Project Managers with our clients, top ranked commercial general contractors, to support projects in the Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
• Evaluate and complete prime contract, subcontracts and purchase orders and fully understanding the terms and conditions of the contract.
• Identify and address all critical issues, and conduct all reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare and update an accurate project schedule with the superintendent
• Ensure that all items are bought out with the pre-construction team to verify scope and cost
• Set up any special procedures and meet with the pre-construction team to understand the scope of the project.
• Review cost reports and submit progress payments to the owner per the contract requirements
• Manage close-out process, ensuring punch list is performed and all closeout procedures are completed in a timely fashion.
• Ensure proper scope and subcontract values are established with pre-construction team.
• Notify owner if there is a change of scope due to RFIs, submittal reviews, and/or direction from the architect that is different from that of the drawings.
• Process change orders and pursue timely approval and payment.
• Provide accurate monthly reports that forecast through project completion
• Evaluate and mitigate owner/project and subcontractor risks. Ensure that all appropriate bonds/insurance and safety programs are in place and maintained.
• Ensure that safety is properly incorporated into job planning and execution.
• Maintain positive client relationships

Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; minimum 2-year Associates Degree; or adequate field experience.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience with commercial construction (i.e. k-12 schools, religious, commercial office, tilt-wall, distribution/light industrial etc.)
• Strong computer skills, specifically packaged construction management software
• High level of interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities are required in order to find solutions to various issues prioritize work and meet deadlines.
