Zachry Group has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Equipment Coordinator to join our Equipment Asset Management team. The Construction Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of timely delivery of tools and equipment to assigned project or projects. The Construction Equipment Coordinator will work closely with buyers, field services superintendents/coordinators, and project teams to ensure the timely delivery of the equipment and tools.
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that includes but is not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Use judgement to assess the needs of multiple sites to provide daily instruction and support. Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
Candidate must exhibit a professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation and collaboration, and enhances productivity in the workplace. Demonstrates strong decision making, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Efficiently manage the timely delivery of tools and equipment from various areas utilizing suspense record systems. Collaborates with buyers, field equipment superintendents, controls, and construction site management team to coordinate requests and dissemination of tools and equipment.
Utilize and maintain suspense record systems dealing with status of tools and equipment, or data, some or all of which may be confidential in nature. Retrieves daily verbal and written updates on the forecast of necessary tools and equipment. Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems, evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action.

• Associates Degree or work experience equivalent
• 2-4 years of exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and foster customer relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in Excel and Power Point.
• Basic Knowledge of construction equipment.
Ability to travel 15% of the time.
2-5 years construction field experience
1-2 years equipment related coordination experience
Understanding and implementation of service contracts.
Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry and move objects safely.
The Construction Equipment Coordinator will work in multiple environments, including office, warehouse, and in a trailer or building on construction sites. They must possess a vision (corrected or uncorrected) that allows for clear visibility from a distance of 20 inches or less. Job site will contain: light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling and talking, bells whistles and alarms
