Journeyman Millwrights for plant shut down maintenance and expansion work in the Franklin, VA area. Millwright should be able to work independently to repair, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on equipment, buildings, and grounds. Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and drawings is required. Well-rounded experience working with pneumatics, hydraulics, motor controls, and other basic components needed and should be capable of precision alignments.
Shut down will start Tuesday 12/10/19 lasting about 3-5 days and then moving to a new assignment. Typical work schedule is 12-14+ hours a day until shut down is completed. Compensation is up to $25 per hour, and $70 a day per diem is available to qualified travelers.
- 4+ years of millwright experience
- Ability to weld is preferred but not required
- Own basic hand tools
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass all pre employment screenings
