[Construction Manager] Construction Manager-Brewery

Qualifications Needed:
• Engineering degree and minimum 10 years Project Management experience.
• Five plus years of experience in construction engineering. Excellent communication, leadership, planning, organization, and problem solving skills.
• Specific experience managing jobs with building construction – Civil/Structural Work
• Ability to initiate/manage cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects
• Possesses critical thinking, decision-making and problem solving skills.
• Excellent personal communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to define project execution plan, team structure for project implementation including engineering and execution approaches.
• Ability to manage and monitor engineering efforts for multiple projects, and validate design constructability and ensure engineering is on-time, complete and accurate.
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to organize, analyze and interpret data
• Computer proficiency required (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Thorough understanding of A-B engineering design standards, technical provisions, and project change management procedures.
• Proven project management skills with analytical and critical thinking required to coordinate scheduling, and take corrective action to address issues and control costs.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and resolve questions with contractors, equipment suppliers and stakeholders in different areas and levels to maintain project schedule and standards.
• Cost accounting and SAP experience a plus
• Capital project scheduling experience.
• Flexibility and availability to work some weekends and holidays.
• Experience in leading remote engineering teams for construction bid package development.
Responsibilities:
• Leadership responsibility for the successful planning, engineering management, execution, monitoring, control and closure of capital expenditures.
• Act as Owner’s representative to ensure project worksite safety, quality of work, schedule, change management and cost control
• Direct project teams and define team resource requirements to ensure successful engineering execution and construction implementation within an operating environment.
• Lead Zone Support role for project cost management, cash flow projections, project closings and schedule management.
• Report on project progress and communicate with company management, contractors and vendors to establish effective working relationships.
• Ensure the projects meet quality expectations and business objectives
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley policies and company accounting standards.
• Management of contractor EHS requirements for LOTO, working at heights, rigging, hot work, and lead/asbestos abatement.
