Works in a collaborative team environment and interacts with other departments such as Engineering, Facilities, Production Manufacturing and Safety to plan and schedule production or procurement considering mixing, manpower, machine capabilities, material availability and customer requirements. This is a Full-Time position with Benefits - Looking for local candidates - No relocation package.
*Provides work schedule development and assist leads in assuring maximum overtime as required.
*Support plant in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost Goals.
*Knowledge of material departmental operation, manufacturing and departmental relationships.
*Analytical ability where problems are somewhat complex, planning organizational abilities.
*High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
*Takes lead role in all matters related to planning and scheduling of preventative and unscheduled maintenance activities. Contributes to continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
*Maintains the SAP PM Systems to plan and schedule work orders, preventative maintenance activities, material lists and asset management.
*Receives all work orders from requesting departments and end-users. Assess work request and makes decisions regarding response times and level of planning activities based on priority of requested work.
*Adapts to changing production needs and prioritizes work among conflicting schedules and expectations.
*Identifies and leads projects to improve maintenance productivity, safety initiatives, and work quality.
*Develops maintenance work packages by evaluating work orders for required permits, actions notices, job steps, spare parts, tools, labor and opportunities for efficiencies.
*Ensures estimates for time required to perform work activities are accurate for the purpose of establishing a schedule.
*Utilizes SAP PM reports to optimize schedule and level loading of resources.
*Team member o lead for special projects as assigned.
*Acts as subject matter expert for work order management, asset management and PM program.
*Meets with production to finalize equipment availability and schedule upcoming maintenance activities.
*Develops and maintains work plan library and job scope sheets.
*Utilizes maintenance reports/metrics to manage incoming and future work activities.
*Assists in coordination and scheduling of building and utility shutdowns.
*Ability to potential safety hazards, LOTO requirements and appropriate precautions applicable to work assignments.
*Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
*Must be proficient in SAP - Plant Maintenance Module and Material Management System.
*Proficient in computer skills using Microsoft Excel.
*Planning and organizational abilities.
*Must be willing to work assigned shift, work daily, weekend and holiday overtime as required.
*Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly with supervisor/co-workers and understand direction from supervisor.
*Experience with risk based PM development and current predictive maintenance technologies such as infrared thermography, vibration analysis and ultrasonic testing.
*Experience in an Enterprise Asset Management System.
*Candidate may be required to pass a drug rest and Criminal background check based on job location/requirements.
