Perform troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems such as: electrical panels, transformers, CT cabinets, conveyor systems, lighting, circuits and power supplies.
Measuring, cutting, bending and installing conduit, using hand, electric, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Troubleshoot circuits, using various meters and tracers
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and electrical testing equipment in performing duties.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Install PVC, EMT, IMC, and Rigid electrical conduit
Install cable tray
Install Wire and Cable
Set boxes, devices and disconnects
Independently work from Drawings, Blue Prints and Schematics
You will be terminating various devices
Install lights (Various voltages, 120 Ė 480v)
Commercial Journeymen Electricians will be required to work from Aerial Lifts and Scissor Lifts
You must be able and willing to work outside in a variety of working conditions typical of the geographic location. That means, when itís cold you have to know how to layer up, and when itís hot you have to know how to stay cool. We know you canít control the weather, but you can control how you respond to it.
Must be willing to travel. We try to keep you as close as possible to the area you want to work in, but we also go where the work is, that means at some point we will ask you to go a little further than you want, no surprises here.
Have a VALID Driver License
Must own reliable transportation
Be Drug Free
Must provide a minimum of 3 years of verifiable employment history
Be able to work at heights greater than 20í
Possess all required hand tools needed for Journeymen Electricians
Be able to stand for long periods of time
Be able to kneel, bend and stoop
Be able to lift 80lbs
Possess all necessary hand tools for personal use
Have (or willing to get) OSHA 10 or 30
Experience operating forklifts and man-lifts
