Responsibilities may include:
Large level wind coil of copper and run it down a table and cut them
take the copper and put foam on it then coil it
There will be a component of lifting parts up to 45lbs - not repetitive lifting
Packaging product packed into a box with another smaller coil
6+ months experience working in some form of production/manufacturing shop/general labor/warehouse
Ability to lift up to 40lbs
Ability to use basic hand and power tools (willing to learn if no experience)
Entry level/no experience will be required
General shop clean up
Assets: (Not Required skills)
Forklift experience (training would be provided/in-house certification if they will be required to operate forklift)
**Candidates without any Canadian work experience will be considered.
Shifts Are On Rotation:
Morning: Monday to Friday 8:00AM- 4PM
Afternoon: Monday to Friday 4PM- 12:00AM
MidNights: Monday to Friday 12am-8am
Morning Shift - $18.60
Afternoon & Midnight Shift - $19.20
4% vacation pay
Benefits will start immediately once employment commences. No wait period for health and dental benefits. Benefits begin the 1st of each month Employer provides 50% premium coverage on all benefit packages
Work site is 15min walk from transit accessible
