ASBECO is currently searching for industrial electrical foremans to join our team full-time
Experience: In order to considered for this position, you must have supervisory experience with conveyor installation and have led a crew. Industrial Electrical & Material Handling Installation experience is required. A minimum of 5 years experience with conveyor belts is preferred.
Industrial Electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, such as control panels. This position requires extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations.

In addition to the required technical skills below, the ideal candidate must be professional, willing to take direction, and work in a team environment.
Required Skills:
Read and interpret blueprints
Perform terminations
Panel work
Install power supply wiring and conduit such as:
EMT, Rigid conduit, MC cable, strut, cable trays
Troubleshoot electrical components
Wire diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits
Ability to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems such as:
switch gears, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, and conveyor systems
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as volt / ohm meters to ensure compatibility and safety of system
Inspect systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatuses, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
Welding experience is preferred but not required
Duties:
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors
Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
