We processes steel onsite at steel manufacturing companies. This site is going to be onsite at a large steel mill in Cofield, NC
we are looking for 4 to 5 general laborers that have at least 6 months of work history in either a heavy industrial, construction, outdoor heavy industrial position or fabrication.
These folks will be torch cutting- which they will be using torch cutters to reprocess steel/metal and cut to shape to be processed.
These folks can be taught to do this but need to be aware that they will be working OUTSIDE in the elements (shelter is given) but it will be very hot and dirty.
PPE- will provide all PPE for contractors. They will have metatarsal steel toes that the contractor will need to be deducted from checks (deduction letters). They will provide fitting and issue of boots upon starting. No Certs required. Client will provide steel toes (will be deducted from contractor pay) and any other PPE (glasses, ear protection). No medical needed
Must be able to work 12 hour shifts and be flexible to work overtime
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and stand consistently.
Must be able to work 6 days / week for 10 to 12 hours day (6:30 AM- 6:30 PM). must be flexible to work ANY DAY of the week
