We're looking for a Data Center Engineer with a heavy electrical background to join a growing and stable team onsite at a large corporate headquarters. Directly supporting a Tier 3 critical data center facility, this individual will be maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems. This is a great opportunity for a Facilities Technician or Operating Engineer to grow their technical experience in the data center facility world.
These systems include:
-Electrical (lighting, UPS, PDU, emergency generators, primary switch gear), emergency backup systems and hot water systems;
-Monitors operation, adjusts, and maintains refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment;
-Boilers, fire/life safety, mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls) and ventilating and hot water heaters;
-Pumps, valves, piping and filters;
Candidates will also be helping on the building automation system, HVAC systems and electrical issues.
Install, repair, and maintain electrical controls, switching and motor controls.
Install and repair plumbing/piping/tubing; wire single and three phase motors (single & two speed);.
Operate and maintain critical equipment including UPS systems, generators, chillers and critical air conditioning units.
Responsible for keeping records of buildings rounds and readings, all engineering logs and engineering data sheets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-5 years of Electrical and HVAC experience in a commercial building setting
-Universal EPA minimum
-2+ years hands-on experience in a critical facility environment
-Must have strong computer skills in all aspects of MS OFFICE, BMS controls
