Position summary: The company is currently seeking a Full Time Facilities Maintenance Field Supervisor. This position is a hands-on supervisor position responsible for scheduling and reviewing work assignments, assisting maintenance technicians and conducting work to ensure the safety of occupants, continuity of business operations, and the cleanliness of all work areas. The position will support locations in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami/Homestead, FL area.

The company desires an individual with a high degree of focus on customer service, exceptional technical skill and an aptitude for facilities maintenance including electrical, mechanical, general building troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairs; along with executing preventive maintenance (PM) activities and including oversight of subcontracted services as required. The preferred candidate will be a hands-on supervisor, dependable and have demonstrated knowledge in scheduling and performing building inspections, maintenance and repairs as well as ability to quickly learn client sites, buildings, systems of operation, occupancy and conditions of use in order to anticipate and respond to customer needs and requirements responsibly and professionally. Proficiency in English as a second language is a requirement, be customer service oriented, a self-starter, reliable, flexible, conduct themselves in a professional manner, be able to make informed decisions, and have a willingness to learn. Candidate should be familiar with applicable standards and specifications, instructing crews on the proper method and techniques for completing various maintenance activities. Candidate should be able to work with subcontractors to obtain proposals for repairs/replacements as needed. A company vehicle will be provided.

Experience and Skills required:
Requires minimum 5 yrs related experience
Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
Customer interface (communications, problem solving, work prioritization & scheduling)

Troubleshooting skills (diagnosing problems, taking meter readings, referring to manufacturer specifications equipment guides)
Electrical skills (changing LED drivers, lights, minor electrical, and troubleshooting)
Familiarity with UPS / Emergency Generator and Fire / Life / Safety Systems
HVAC / CRAC Units (PM, system monitoring, knowledge and familiarization), air-cooler water chiller knowledge a plus
Plumbing skills (minor restroom repair of toilets, sinks, and fixtures)
Building skills (doors & hardware, furniture & hardware, etc.)
Painting skills (for touch-ups and misc.)

Knowledge of Department of Transportation rules and procedures is preferred
Computer & Hand-held device skills, (email, scheduling, maintenance management, work order & PMs)

Full Time; 40 hours a week; Day shift, Monday through Friday. Must be able to work nights and weekends if required. This position is considered as essential personnel and be available 24/7, as needed.
