MILLWRIGHT NEEDED AT LEE STEAM STATION

Rate of Pay-$26.00 - $28.00
Per Diem-$80.00 Day (If Qualify)
Schedule: 50+
Length of job: 1+month (May transfer to another job if available)


REQUIREMENTS: ALL Applicants must be:

18 years of Age
Able to Pass a Drug Test
Legally Eligible to Work in the US
Additional Requirements for Craftworkers:
Must have own transportation to and from jobsite every work day (driver's license not required)
Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools)
May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities)


Primary function of a Millwright: Install, dismantles and move machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints and other drawings in industrial establishments.


Typical Duties include but are not limited to:

Read blueprints and schematics drawings to determine work procedures.
Dismantle machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
Move machinery and equipment, using hoist, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
Assemble and installs equipment, such as winders, extruders, presses, CNC equipment, shafting, conveyors, and tram rails, using hand tools and power tools.
Construct foundation for machines, using hand tools and building material, such as wood, cement, grout and steel.
Align machines and equipment, using hoist, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
Assemble machines and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools.
May repair and lubricate machines and equipment. May be required to use optical alignment and/or dial indicators for precision alignment.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

Must have 3 year of verifiable experience.
Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
Follow instructions and read blueprints.
Work at heights with out fear.
Use logical step-by-step procedures in work.
Plan work and solve problems.
Make decisions based on measurable information.
Perform a variety of duties which may change often.
Operate machinery.
May be required to satisfactorily demonstrate craft certification through written and/or performance test, developed and prepared by an independent third party.
