[Inspection] Electrical Inspector for Heavy Industrial Project - $$$

Our major Electric Utilities Client is looking for someone who has extremely experienced and skilled within Electricals to join the project as an Inspector. People who are great fits for this position come from a Master Electrician or Journeyman background within the Heavy Industrial Industry and Electrical Skillset.


This project is for 6 months (likely to extend) and would get your foot in the door with an amazing company to continue working similar projects in the future.

Daily duties and responsibilities will include the following at a minimum:
Write exact and accurate inspection reports daily.
Effectively communicate with foreman and superintendent to assure specification and code inspections are performed.
Understand and interpret NEC and NFPA codes, specifications, and customer requirements.
Verify work is being performed and documented in accordance with the quality program, site quality plan, inspection and testing plans and applicable procedures.
Assist with scheduling any necessary 3rd party testing that may be required.
Assist with project turnover of electrical quality related items and documentation.
Maintain accurate reports of electrical quality control inspections.
Participate in the Jobsite Safety Observations (JSO's) process and define corrective measures for problem areas
Comply with all Safety & Health requirements and monitors construction activities to ensure adherence to safety standards
Previous experience as an electrical and/or I&E inspector is highly desired.
If the above is not available currently licensed as a master or journeyman electrician is required.
Candidates must have a minimum 6 years of verifiable electrical experience on heavy industrial projects.
Candidates must be computer literate and should have a strong working knowledge in MS Excel, Word, and Blue-Beam.
Previous experience with Procore is highly desired for this role.
