This is an initial 6 month, remote, contract position and will involve 25% travel.
Responsibilities:
Acting project manager for an existing project construction site.
Gather data on Progress and Productivity at site. Analyze data and explore opportunities for improvement.
Review and approve progress reports and invoices
Interface with site construction manager, EPC team, and site owner/farmer.
Review and provide feedback/approval for change orders, Request for Information, and other open engineering and construction issues at site.
Work with Owners Engineers to review and comment on all engineering submittals
Gather date for project completion and turnover including punch-listing, operating manuals, quality documents, as built drawings, etc.
Participate in all engineering and execution strategy reviews
Develop weekly and monthly reports, and share project status at weekly project meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Minimum of 2 years experience as a project engineer or project manager
Working knowledge of project terminology and project execution methodology and procedures.
Exceptional communication skills with internal stakeholders and external vendors and contractors
Must be an effective team player working with various stakeholders across departments
Strong office and PC skills
