Kodiak is seeking qualified Certified Welding Inspector in Phoenix, AZ area.

• $38.00 per hour
• $140.00 a day per diem – days worked
• 10-hour shift
• Monday - Saturday (60 hours per week)

Job Duties:
• Perform Quality Control inspections per the contract specifications and code requirements.
• Prepare Quality Control reports from documentation for inspections and daily reports.
• Monitor and review all inspection and testing performed welders pop and structural per AWS specs.
• Work with field supervision and subcontractors to enforce and maintain quality control standards.
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds the contract specifications and code requirements
• Ensure all materials meet or exceed the contract specifications and code requirements.
• Begin studying and learning the tasks/duties of the Site CWI/QC Manager.
• Additional duties commensurate with skill set and knowledge as required.
Experience:
• AWS CWI certification: 5 years (Preferred)
Must have a clean background, be able to pass drug tests, and have a valid driver’s license.
