Superintendents are responsible for overall jobsite management of crews, subcontractors, job progress, schedule, safety, weekly reporting, equipment maintenance, and onsite issues. Concrete/civil work, plant and infrastructure work.
o Adhere to and enforce company safety policies and procedures for employees, visitors and subcontractors
o Safety Planning
o Develop Safety Policy
o Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks
o Perform weekly safety inspections
o Ensure tool and equipment maintenance is completed
o Pre-Job Planning
o Schedule, guide, coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, activities, manpower, material and equipment
o Coordinate with Project Team to ensure that project milestones and overall schedule completion date is met
o Manage day to day field activities and communicate them to field management
o Direct, guide and delegate to field engineers, foreman, crew leaders and assistant superintendents
o Participate in progress meetings
o Establish tool, equipment, manpower, expendable, and material needs
o Guide and direct field employees, trade contractors, and suppliers
