Hire Strategies – Superintendent

Job Duties/Essential Functions:
• Manage sub-contractors (Electrical, Masonry, Foreman, Plumbing, etc)
o Be able to also participate on a Superintendent team at some sites
• Develop daily schedule of activities and understand sequence of construction
• Read blueprints and conduct drawing markup and be able to explain when necessary (through Procore, Bluebeam)
• Be able to produce daily reports and hazard reports
• Communicate daily with team on the ground
• Ensure team is on schedule (or ahead of schedule if applicable) and able to meet deadlines
• Organize and lead sub-contractor meetings and participate/weigh in on Owner Architect Contractor Meetings (OAC)
o Provide look ahead of activities, forecasting and provide insight – you will not lead OAC meetings but will be able to participate

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Required to have 5-7 years of experience
• Required to have experience independently running $5MM projects at a minimum
• Required to be OSHA30 Certified
• Required to discuss what you are a subject matter expert in as it relates to commercial construction
• Have superb documentation and computer skills (ex. Procorp, Touchpoint, Building Trends)
• Have your own transportation (truck and phone allowance is provided)
• Required to have a clean history of no safety violations/issues Spanish speaker is helpful but not necessary

Pay/Salary / Duration / Hours / Other:
• $95k - $105k depending on experience
• Direct Hire (Permanent)
• Monday – Friday (and occasionally overtime when necessary)
