[Controls Engineer] Mechatronics Robotic Technician

We are currently seeking a few Mechatronics Robotics Technicians for upcoming Projects throughout the US. With a current focus in the Bentonville, Arkansas area.
Qualified candidates should be able to meet the requirements listed below.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
� Must be committed to working safely while accomplishing all tasks and always promoting a safe work environment.
� Experience in an electrical, mechanical, or controls field preferred.
� Ability to participate in 1�2-months training program, near the greater Boston area.
� Position home base located in Bentonville, AR after completion of 1-2-month training program. May require travel to other sites in other States as needed.
� Successfully pass nationally recognized PMMI certifications for Mechatronics, and having a current PMMI certification is a plus.
� Strong problem-solving and trouble shooting skills.
� Ability to read/interpret electrical control drawings and diagnose electrical and/or mechanical problems.
� Need to be able to perform maintenance functions and make repairs in a professional manner.
� Basic computer knowledge, working with Microsoft Windows to include Outlook, Word, and Excel
� Flexibility and ability to work different days/shifts (night shift) as needed (7 days a week operation, including holidays).
� Dedicated to supporting production by working in a safe, customer focused manner. Must be highly self-motivated.
� Successfully pass Ramsay assessment

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
� Ability to take care of customer needs while following company procedures.
� Ability to demonstrate conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards.
� Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result.
Ability to formulate a sound decision using the available information.
� Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.
� Participation/success in trade school, traditional school, and/or private industry sponsored robotic competitions (drones, battle bots, etc) where participants build, maintain, and operate home grown competitive robots.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
� Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical robotic shuttles to identify point of failure and repairing as required.
� Test Robotic Shuttles to verify all functions are ready for site deployment utilizing proprietary web-based software.
� Perform scheduled, predictive, and preventive maintenance to detect and prevent problems.
� Evaluate opportunities for future release improvements for the robots.
� Work with technical documentation to execute repairs according to work instructions.
� Develop work instruction where work instruction currently do not exist.
� Work with material transfer conveyors
� Observe and incorporate safety standards and regulations required for safe operation of the system.
� Document and complete service reports for all maintenance performed.
� Provide reporting to include faults, clean-up activities and statistics.
� Repairs and maintains the Customer robotic shuttles in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manual, and manufacturer�s specifications.
� Troubleshoot systems malfunctions and perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences and system downtime.
� Perform all physical duties of a skilled labor associate (i. e. heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, twisting, and reaching)
� Training others to install, use, and service robots.
