Sheet Metal Helpers: Depending on Experience

Perdiem:  If Qualified - $90.- a Day

Our client is looking for Sheet Metal workers for tasks related to sheet metal fabrication, installation, and maintenance. They work on cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal materials for a federal project in Raleigh, NC

Key Responsibilities:

Material Prep: Prepare sheet metal materials by measuring and cutting them to the required sizes.

Tool Handling: Familiarize with and maintain sheet metal tools and equipment.

Assembly: Help assemble sheet metal components.

Insulation: Assist in applying insulation and sealing materials.

Installation: Support installing sheet metal components in construction projects.

Safety: Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear.

Cleanup: Maintain a clean work area.

Apprenticeship: Learn from experienced workers.

Quality Control: Inspect finished components.

Qualifications:

Min 2 years of experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
OSHA 10 Required

PPE and Tools

Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.

Safety awareness.
Preferred Skills:

Previous relevant experience.
Trade school or technical training.
Welding knowledge.
Working Conditions: Varied environments, including construction sites. May work in confined spaces or at heights. Exposure to different metals and noisy/dusty conditions.
