Our client is seeking a Construction Manager to work in the Guy, Texas for a one year assignment, initially (with possible extensions).

**Overview:**

As a Construction Manager for our solar project, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all construction activities related to our solar energy installations. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget, while upholding the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional project management skills, and a deep understanding of solar energy systems and construction processes.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Project Planning and Scheduling:**

- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules, taking into account resource allocation, procurement needs, and regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

2. **Construction Oversight:**

- Supervise and manage on-site construction activities, including site preparation, foundation installation, mounting structure assembly, and solar panel installation.

- Monitor progress against established timelines and milestones, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays or issues.

- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

3. **Quality Assurance and Control:**

- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that construction work meets specified standards and regulatory requirements.

- Implement quality control measures and corrective actions as needed to maintain the highest level of workmanship.

4. **Budget Management:**

- Monitor project expenditures and maintain cost control measures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

- Review and approve contractor invoices, change orders, and other project-related expenses.

5. **Stakeholder Communication:**

- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.

- Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to management and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.

6. **Team Leadership and Development:**

- Lead, motivate, and mentor project teams, subcontractors, and construction crews to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Proven experience in managing large-scale solar projects, with a minimum of 5 years in a construction management role.

- In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems, construction techniques, and industry best practices.

- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

- Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, PMP, or LEED AP are desirable.

**Working Conditions:**

This role does not offer perdiem or relocation assistance.
