Project: This will support building a small complex on the port to staff all operations for offshore wind related activities.

Work Location: Norfolk VA
Pay Rate: Not Defined / need Candidates requested rate
Work Schedule: 5x8's to start, but OT will be required during construction phases (50hr weeks)
PD: $166.00 (7 days for FT)
Mob / Demob: $500.00
Duration: Initially One Year w/ annual extensions expected

Position Details/Scope of Work:
This will support building a small complex on the port to staff all operations for offshore wind related activities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
This person is responsible for facilitating project management, managing the process of design, planning and maintenance of the facility being built
Conducts project management: plans, schedules and manages the maintenance and construction of facilities and projects, ensuring a safe environment
Supervises subordinate managerial staff; supervisory duties include instructing; assigning, reviewing and planning work of others; maintaining standards; coordinating activities;
Chairs supervisors and construction meetings
Coordinates and disseminates information between owner and consultants engaged for projects
Oversees the work of outside consultants, engineers, contractors, etc., on projects / repairs /builds

Education Requirements:
Bachelor degree preferred but not required
10+ yrs experience as a construction manager
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience managing office complexes/facilities required
Prior utility construction experience preferred
