Project Engineer (Foundation / Structural) Richmond VA
Project: This will support foundations for turbines as well as port related structures

Work Location: Richmond VA
Pay Rate: Not Defined / need Candidates requested rate
Work Schedule: 5x8's to start, but OT may be required during construction phases
PD: $213.00 (7 days for FT contractors)
Mob / Demob: $500.00
Duration: Initially 36 months +

Position Details/Scope of Work:

This will be 3+years of support. This will support foundations for turbines as well as port related structures. The bulk of the work will support offshore foundations for turbines and substations installed 25 miles offshore:
Structural Integrity Assessments
Offshore Wind Structural Design
Buckling Analysis
Foundation Fatigue Analysis and Design

Some of the additional responsibilities may include:
Perform site selection studies and feasibility studies for OSW ports
Analyze existing port infrastructure and proposed sites to determine suitability for use in OSW industry
Work with OSW port logistics modeling team to create and analyze OSW port models

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in civil or structural engineering.
Experience in: Civil, Structural, Coastal, Marine or Offshore Wind is preferred.
Prefer someone with 3 - 12 yrs experience (mid level)
