The Document Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining the flow of construction documentation throughout the construction process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Document management, such as receiving, preparing, logging, and tracking plans, procedures, and specifications as received, including all revisions (both electronic and paper versions)
Distributing new revisions to plans, procedures, and specifications to any and all relevant personnel/divisional groups
Maintaining electronic files of project documentation
Conducting monthly audits of field documents
Maintaining and tracking all hard copy files of project documentation, all electronic copy files of project documentation, and file system for transmittals and associated documents such as project photos, etc
Supporting Project Manager, Construction Manager, Superintendents, and Construction Engineers in regards to submittals, RFI’s, drawings, specifications, and other project documents. Collaborating with superintendents, engineers, and administration as required.
Performing other related duties as required and assigned.

Required qualifications:
Experience in document control for the design and construction of large projects a plus.
Proven ability to work with a wide range of disciplines connected with the successful completion of projects.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, both orally and written, including written reports, summaries, and presentations.
