The Superintendent is a position that is responsible for day-to-day team leadership and oversight for all project-specific requirements from mobilization to close out. For this position, we are looking for candidates that have multifamily and/or hospitality new construction management experience.

PAY RANGE 70,000 - 115,000

Responsibilities:

· Coordinating subcontractors, performing quality control and safety check and providing on-site direction when preparing construction sites.

· Actively coordinate all subcontractors’ work efforts, vendors/materials, scheduling, and budgets during the mobilization, construction, and closeout phases of assigned projects.

· Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project costs.

· Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline.

· Confirm and oversee all city inspections while being familiar with local building code enforcement and inspectors and resolving conflicts or issues throughout the project.

· Exhibit sound and accurate judgment, inspect work throughout the project’s progress to ensure workmanship and materials conform to plan and work letter specifications.

· Prepare and submit daily reports on progress, materials used, punch lists, pictures, and schedule adjustments before leaving the job site each day.

· Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

· HS Diploma or equivalent required

· Strong customer service skills, decision making skills, organizational skills, positive attitude, excellent follow-through, and an ability to learn quickly to execute day-to-day operations.

· Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, while establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.

· Previous commercial construction superintendent experience specifically with Multifamily or Hospitality New Construction.

· Must understand construction terms, scheduling, and planning concepts.

· Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues.

· Strong leadership qualities

· In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations.

· Own hands tools, and ability to perform basic construction tasks and cleaning.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to constantly stand and walk. Must be able to occasionally sit, reach, crawl, climb, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 75 pounds.
