Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Civil/Structural Field Engineer opportunity located at the Savannah River Site.

Work Location: Aiken, SC

Civil/Structural Field Engineer-

Duties:
Provide field support, punch-list complications and tracking, project reporting and technical assistance and production of Requests for Information (RFIs).
Draft and submit Design Change documentation to include frequent use of CADD.
Review, maintain records, and respond to Request for Information (RFIs).
Provide technical direction/interpretation of design drawings and specification requirements.
Ensure design changes comply with requirements identified within the Scope of Work (SOW) and Code of Record (COR).

Education:
High School diploma
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (preferred).

Experience:
Five (5) to fifteen (15) years of civil/structural field engineering experience.
Department of Energy (DOE) or project experience.
Proficient with CADD requiring minimal instruction from Project Engineering.
Perform walk-downs and constructability reviews of proposed installation and modification design.
Perform evaluations to ensure work meets applicable design, specifications, codes, and standards.
Working knowledge of cost control, scheduling, civil/structural engineering drawings and other documents.

Preferred Experience:
Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project experience.
Knowledge of ACI requirements (American Concrete Institute)
Knowledge of 10 CFR 830, Nuclear Safety Management, requirements and impacts of construction to safety classification of existing structure.

Additional Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE (�L� or �Q�) clearance.
