TKO Staffing is looking to hire Finish Carpenters for a commercial project in South Dakota, expected to last 4-5 weeks. The pay range of a Finish Carpenter is up to $30 per hour, based on experience. The majority of our position’s hours range from 45 to 50 hours a week. Trim Carpenter applicants must have a personal vehicle and be prepared for carpentry work up to 50+ hours a week.

Finish Carpenter responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard

· Use basic hand and power tools to cut, fabricate, and install framework components

· Install crown moldings and trim for doors, windows, and baseboards

· Level and trim of doors and windows using proper tools

· Demo and clean up as necessary

· Comply with company rules and safety regulations

Finish Carpenter requirements

· 3+ years of trim carpentry experience, providing 3 references of previous experience

· Must be proficient in framing, finish and trim carpentry, casework install, institutional door and hardware install and specialties.

· Must be able to read blueprints, operate power tools, nail guns, forklifts & skid loaders

· Basic carpentry tools and the following are REQUIRED on Day 1:

· Drill bits, taps, framing square, level, full set of sockets & wrenches.

· Ability to perform all aspects of commercial construction including regular standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting of up to 50 lbs without assistance

· Work at heights periodically

· Must have transportation to and from jobsite

· Math, problem solving, and construction skills

Finish Carpenter Standards

· Maintain a professional attitude

· Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots)

· Quality Craftsmanship

· Arrive on time with enthusiasm everyday

Job Details:

Pay: $26-$30/hour, based on experience

Per Diem: $805/week

Start: ASAP

Duration: 4-5 weeks

Required Tools Day 1:

Drill Bits, taps, framing square, level, full set of sockets & wrenches. If you don’t have them, you will be sent away, permanently.

Other Requirements:

Must be able to read blueprints and comfortably work at heights.
