Job Summary:  
PIC Group has an excellent opportunity for a an Estimator position based out of Atlanta, GA. Working in a hybrid role, this position reports to the Preconstruction Director and will be responsible for assisting the project team throughout bid processes by managing and coordinating all incoming bid information. The Estimator manages, coordinates, and prepares detailed pricing for individual disciplines and provides estimates needed in a timely manner. The position is eligible for an annual bonus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Review design documents to determine necessary trades required for bidding a complete project
•    Prepare detailed scope sheets for individual disciplines on a large project, using this same approach for all disciplines on smaller projects
•    Communicate clearly with subcontractor partners
•    Working knowledge of all plans, specifications, and documents related to position
•    Responsible for the administration of preconstruction efforts, from start to finish
•    Identify, coordinate, and track key dates and deliverables for the team
•    Actively participates on internal team(s) which focuses on continuous improvements of the business and its processes

Job Requirements:
•    Represent company at pre-bid meetings and site walks / surveys
•    Understand material unit costs, systems unit costs, and buildout square foot costs
•    Interacting with and maintaining positive working relationships with Owners, Architects, and subcontractor partners
•    Manage incoming invitations to bid by organizing and distributing information as it is received
•    Issue invitations to bid to subcontractor partners. Receive and organize incoming subcontractor bids for review by team
•    Assist the entire team (Business Development, Project Management, Marketing, etc.) with the generation of preconstruction material for presentation purposes

Physical Requirements:
•    Extended sitting and viewing computer screens.

Education / Experience:
•    Interior construction project related experience is preferred.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), Bluebeam
•    Familiarity with Cosential, Microsoft Project, Various FTP (File Transfer Protocol) document sites
•    Experience with Planswift, Building Connected and Procore is a plus
