Job Scope:

Weld a Variety of Metal Surfaces or Pipe Using Various Types of Welding Equipment
Flat, Vertical, Overhead and Horizontal Arc, SMAW, and Fluxcore, TIG Welding and Air Arc Welding
Weld Shell Plating, Fabricated Cast or Forged Components According to Specifications for Vessels, Tanks or Other Structural Assemblies
Other Tasks as Assigned

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 Years of Recent Shipyard Experience; 3+ Experience in Welding
Knowledge of Welding Procedures and Various Types of Welding Equipment
Proficient in Flat, Vertical, Overhead and Horizontal Arc, SMAW, and Fluxcore, TIG Welding and Air Arc Skills
Available for all Shifts
OSHA 10 Maritime, Firewatch Certification and Respirator Fit Text Completed
Able to Pass a Drug Screen & Background Check
US or Naturalized Citizen or Permanent Resident
Copper Nickel Experience
Must Pass NASSCOS Plate Test in all Positions and Pipe Test on 6g Restricted Fix Position Using FCAW and GTAW Processes
Certified to Operate High Reaching Equipment
Ability to Work at Heights and in Confined Spaces
