[Electrical Technician] Electrical Superintendent & Foreman Positions (100% Travel - Conveyor Work)

Location: Nationwide
Pay Rate: $32-$41 per hour (Based on Experience)
Per Diem: $140 per day
Hours: Typical 55-hour workweek
Benefits: Travel pay and mileage reimbursement from project to project

Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Electrical Superintendents and Foremen with strong expertise in electrical conveyor installation, motor controls, PLCs, and material handling systems. This role requires 100% travel, managing projects ranging from one week to several months across the country. Ideal candidates will have direct experience in distribution centers such as Amazon, FedEx, UPS, Walmart, Home Depot, and other major facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead electrical teams on job sites nationwide.
- Supervise installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical conveyor systems, motor controls, PLCs, switch gears, and electrical panels.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues using test equipment (ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and overall site productivity while maintaining safety and morale.
- Maintain communication with Project Managers, General Managers, and site leadership.
- Train and mentor assigned personnel, ensuring compliance with company and customer work rules.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and complete required safety documentation.

Qualifications:
- Superintendent: Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience in electrical installation for material handling systems.
- Foreman: Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in electrical installation for material handling systems.
- Expertise in conveyor systems, motor controls, PLCs, and large-scale distribution center electrical work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in different locations and oversee large teams (15+ workers).
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle challenging situations.
- Licensed electrician preferred. Some college coursework is a plus.
- Must be able to travel 100% of the time and have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
