Pay Rate: $31-$40 per hour (Based on Experience)
Per Diem: $140 per day
Hours: Typical 55-hour workweek

Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Superintendents and Foremen to lead and oversee the installation, adjustment, repair, and maintenance of material handling systems, including conveyor installations. This position requires 100% travel, managing projects ranging from one week to several months across the country. Ideal candidates will have direct experience working in distribution centers such as Amazon, FedEx, UPS, Walmart, and Home Depot.

Responsibilities:
- Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation of conveyor systems and ensure work meets company and client standards.
- Manage multiple projects across different geographic regions.
- Ensure all necessary documentation, including job reports, safety reports, and project status updates, are completed accurately.
- Lead project teams, Technicians, independent contractors, and subcontractors.
- Optimize productivity while maintaining high safety standards and team morale.
- Conduct staff evaluations, monitor team performance, and identify future leaders.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, General Managers, and site leadership to maintain smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical installation crews on conveyor system projects nationwide.
- Oversee the proper assembly, detailing, and adjustment of conveyor systems.
- Ensure documentation is completed accurately for assigned projects.
- Train, supervise, and mentor assigned personnel while ensuring compliance with company and customer safety protocols.
- Maintain strong communication with management and site leadership to ensure project goals are met.
- Operate heavy equipment, including cranes, lifts, and other machinery, as needed.

Qualifications:
- Superintendent: Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience in mechanical installation of material handling systems.
- Foreman: Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in mechanical installation of material handling systems.
- Proven expertise in conveyor systems and large-scale mechanical installations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and team management skills.
- Must be able to operate various heavy equipment (cranes, lifts, etc.).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle challenging situations.
- Some college coursework preferred.
- Must be able to travel 100% of the time and have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
