Description:We're hiring experienced Ship Fitters for ship repair projects at a commercial shipyard in Jacksonville, FL. Work involves structural repairs and modifications on commercial and DOD vessels.

Responsibilities:
Read blueprints and fabricate/install structural components (plates, frames, bulkheads)
Perform fitting, welding, and cutting operations
Ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards

Requirements:
Prior ship fitting experience on commercial and DOD ships
Proficient in blueprint reading, fabrication, and welding
Strong understanding of shipyard safety and quality standards
Team player with solid communication and problem-solving skills
