Location: Newport News Virginia - 14 Day Shutdown (84 hrs week x 2)

Travel : May 4th ,2025
Shutdown Starts : May 5 @ 6am
Shutdown Ends : May 18th
Travel Out : May 19th

Shifts Hours :Day and Night 12 hours
Day Shift : Arrive at 6am
Night Shift : Arrive at 6pm

SCOPE-Heavy Industrial Terminal Project Shutdown
- New Chute Systems
- Conveyors & Conveying Systems
- Structural Steel Repairs
- Drives for the Slews.
* There is very detailed layout and fitting to do on the 8000lb Slew Drives and will require precision layout and welding.
** There is a high probability that you will be:
- working at heights
- working with cranes,
- working on extremely large equipment and moving large sections of steel that have no room for error.

- This is a dirty environment to work in so if you don�t like to get dirty this might not be the job for them.

Pay Rates:
Day Shift: $36.00
Night Shift $39.00 ($36.00 + $3.00 Shift Differential)
Per Diem: $160x7
Travel IN/OUT up to 12 hrs @$36.00 w'/ 1 day per diem ea. way

JM Level Multicraft Trades required : (MUST BE TOOLED UP)
Welders (MUST HAVE CERTS)
Riggers
Millwrights

Certification Requirements if Operating or Rigging: (A Plus)
Telehandlers (Reach Truck)
AWP (Scissor Lift)
Harness/Fall Protection
OSHA 10
Rigging Certs
- And any other certifications you may hold

Must produce the following personal safety equipment prior to start of shift.
Hard Hat
Steel Toe Boots in good condition
3 Personal Lock out Locks
Personal Harness with double retractable lanyard (fixed lanyards are not allowed on site)
Personal Rain Gear
Personal Head Lamps
