About the Role:
We are seeking a Construction Manager to act as the Owner�s Representative for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of project execution�from site preparation and interconnection to safety, commissioning, and project closeout. You�ll work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the on-site execution of utility-scale solar and BESS construction projects
Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, and construction teams
Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with schedule, budget, and quality standards
Manage project documentation and reporting, including daily/weekly/monthly updates to senior leadership
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Support interconnection processes and manage execution of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and Independent System Operator (ISO) obligations
Conduct site walkdowns, verify work completion, and approve contractor invoices
Represent the company in project meetings and external stakeholder discussions
Assist with commissioning and transition to commercial operations
Perform additional project-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in construction management or project oversight in the renewable energy sector
Proven experience with utility-scale solar and/or battery storage projects
Strong knowledge of EPC processes, interconnection, and commissioning
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel to project sites as required
Bachelor�s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred
Full per diem will be provided per GSA guidelines in addition toa monthly travel allowance for trips home.

Must be able to pass a background and drug/ alcohol test.
