Job Title: Construction Superintendent � Battery Energy Storage Systems BESS (Electrical/Mechanical)
Location: Initially Michigan/Nebraska - following this position there are projects all over the USA.
Travel: Site based
Type: Full-Time/Contract

Overview:
We�re seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent (Owners Rep) with strong electrical and mechanical experience to lead field execution of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. This role is critical in ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery from site mobilization through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise all electrical and mechanical scopes, including MV systems, inverters, switchgear, racking, and HVAC for BESS
Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate field execution
Manage subcontractors, daily site activities, and construction schedules
Enforce safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance
Support QA/QC inspections, testing, and utility interconnection

Qualifications:
3+ years in utility-scale energy or industrial construction
Experience with BESS projects strongly preferred
Candidates with backgrounds in substation, wind, or solar construction are encouraged to apply
Strong understanding of electrical codes (NEC, NFPA) and grid standards
Proficiency with construction tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project
OSHA 30 certification required; journeyman license a plus
