Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation.
Possess knowledge of crushing, screening, material handling equipment and all related major systems to troubleshoot or anticipate system problems.
Build the foundation for machines.
Construct and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram rails.
Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
Transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards.
Work with a range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and brazing equipment.
Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
Visit various construction sites.
Work incident and injury free.
Repair rotating equipment, including pumps, agitators, crushers, mills, and turbines.
Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and piping systems and determine the root cause of equipment failures.
Operate cranes, boom trucks and man lifts.
Rebuild pumps back to manufacturing tolerances.
Climb ladders, work at heights and in confined spaces.
May work alone or with others.
Shift work.
Complete any other tasks as needed or as directed by management.
