We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Coordinator to oversee construction operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications in Indianapolis, IN.
This position is responsible for the management and execution of safety activities for the specific project assigned. The Site Safety Coordinator should be knowledgeable about safety regulations and best practices within the construction environment and be able to engage and advise the job site leadership relative to the client�s safety program.
The Site Safety Coordinator�s duties include enforcing OSHA standards and the client�s safety policies, conducting job site safety walk-throughs, writing safety reports, conducting safety training, evaluating forklift and scissor lift operators, performing Job Safety Analyses, and investigating accidents. Additional duties include performing safety audits, pre-task planning for high-risk work tasks, writing site-specific safety programs, etc.
Job Requirements:
OSHA510
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to positively influence safe behavior
To be on site with the client�s team while operations are ongoing.
Weekend work will be required at some projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision and as a team member.
Education & Experience:
Minimum education - High School diploma
Minimum 3-5 years prior work experience in an occupational health & safety focused role. Construction experience is not mandatory but is a plus.
Payrate : $37 up to $38
Full Time position.
