PAY IS DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE AND TOOLS

POSITION SUMMARY:

The surveyor will support the layout and verification of pile locations, elevations, and as-built docs on project sites. Plays a key role in ensuring the foundations are installed by engineering design. Supports field crews with layout accuracy, data collection and elevation coordination.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform site surveys for layout of pile locations, benchmarks & elevations.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, Engineers to ensure site data reflects current plans and RFI's.
Verify pile location and elevation post-installation for as-built documentation.
Maintain field notes, stakeout logs and cut sheets
Load & manage CAD/KML/DXF data into survey equipment.
Prepares pre& post-installation documentation such as foundation reports and survey certs
Communication with site crew/resolve conflicts.
QUALIFICATIONS:

2-4 yr minimum experience in construction of civil surveying.
Experience in pile foundation layout preferred (Helical, driven, or drilled).
Proficiency with Trimble, Topcon, or Leica total stations and GNSS systems
Read & Interpret engineering drawings, site plans & survey files.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center or similar software.
Valid Driver's license
OSHA 30 preferred
Competitive pay

$50/day Per-Diem
