Job Description:
As a Grade Crew Foreman, you will utilize your expertise in grading, roadway construction, excavation, and related earthwork on various projects throughout Hampton Roads. You will be responsible for planning and managing construction activities for a grade crew, supervising the team, operating excavators and bulldozers for grading tasks, performing grade shooting and stakeout, and coordinating with project managers to schedule work and maintain budgets.

Responsibilities:
Plan and manage construction activities for the grade crew.
Supervise the crew to ensure efficient operations.
Operate excavators and bulldozers for grading activities.
Shoot grades and perform stakeout for grading activities.
Coordinate with project managers on scheduling work and maintaining budgets.

Essential Skills:
At least five years of prior earthwork experience with a grade crew.
Advanced knowledge of construction drawings and blueprints; ability to read plans.
Strong understanding of all aspects of earthwork.
Proficiency in using a grade rod and level, spinning laser, and setting stakes for grading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Willingness to work in a team environment.
Pre-employment drug screening and satisfactory driving record required.
GPS experience is a plus, but not required.
