The State Group is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team in Janesville, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate must be able to travel up to 75% of the time, work weekends as needed, and hold current OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certifications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
•Visit worksites across various U.S. states to ensure compliance with safety regulations and actively promote a strong, positive safety culture.
•Conduct safety orientations, deliver safety training, and participate in pre-task analysis meetings.
•Manage and update training records using safety training tracking software.
•Perform site inspections and collaborate with operations teams to mitigate identified risks.
•Conduct accident investigations, including root cause analyses, and manage injury cases as needed.
•Ensure timely and accurate completion of all inspections and incident investigations.
•Respond promptly to employee safety concerns.
•Complete site-specific safety plans and conduct regular safety audits.
•Communicate safety trends and improvement opportunities to management, field supervision, customers, and employees.
•Actively contribute to the professional safety team, helping to define best practices and drive continuous improvement.
•Perform additional duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction safety role.
•Bachelor's degree in safety or a related field preferred.
•COSS or CHST certification or equivalent experience preferred
•OSHA 30-Hour and OSHA 510 certifications required.
•Preferred experience in the gas line industry, including familiarity with gas pipeline installation, maintenance, or related safety standards.
•Willingness and ability to travel at least 75% of the time.
•Professional conduct that represents the company's core values.
•In-depth knowledge of safety policies and regulations.
•Excellent training and communication skills.
•Strong time management, organizational abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and experience navigating EHS platforms.
•Available to work over time and weekends as needed.
