360X Staffing is hiring for Millwrights in Boardman, OR.

Pay: $25 - 33/hr DOE + $100 daily per diem for days worked

Job Description:

The Mechanical Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment in industrial settings. This role also requires structural welding experience to fabricate and modify steel structures and support systems in accordance with engineering specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturer manuals.
Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs on pumps, conveyors, compressors, and other production equipment.
Diagnose mechanical problems using a variety of tools and techniques.
Perform structural welding using SMAW, MIG, or flux-core processes to fabricate and install platforms, supports, brackets, and framework.
Use cutting tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment to modify steel structures as needed.
Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, PPE requirements, and site-specific safety guidelines.
Collaborate with engineers, welders, electricians, and other trades to complete installations and modifications.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

Requirements:

Completion of a recognized Millwright apprenticeship program or relevant trade certification.
Proven experience in structural welding (CWB or AWS certification preferred).
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and structural blueprints.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rigging, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and industrial machinery.
Familiarity with welding codes and structural steel fabrication standards.

Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Working Hours: 50+ hours per week
